We found this old dresser and decided we wanted to spice it up a bit.

We gave it a light sand and then painted it with Martha Stewart's "Schoolhouse Slate" paint & primer in eggshell finish, which we found at Home Depot. 

After two coats of paint, we let it dry over night. We took an extra fine sand paper block and sanded the edges ONLY. We then mixed part water and part Dark Walnut Stain, then brushed it over the entire dresser. After letting it sit for ten minutes, we took a damp rag and wiped it off.

Last, we spray painted the knobs with Black Rust-Oleum Hammered Paint & Primer in one. Instead of using this in the bedroom, we keep our pots and pans in it for extra storage. It looks great in our kitchen!
